The Holocaust Museum of Porto celebrated International Holocaust Day last Friday by hosting approximately 2,000 elementary and high school students from schools all over the country.
Meirav Eilon Shahar, Israel's representative to the United Nations in Geneva, issued a statement for International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
"I have taken the decision to immediately terminate the contracts of these staff members and launch an investigation," said Philippe Lazzarini, UNRWA commissioner-general.
The initiative took place today morning in the Holocaust Museum of Oporto under strong security measures.
The attraction of crowds of teenagers to visit the Holocaust museum in Porto is something unique in Europe.
