Letter to IRN in full:

1. The announcement of the internal inquiry of the Institute of Registries and Notary (regarding the application of the law allowing Jews of Sephardic origin to acquire Portuguese nationality) served as a tool to attack the Jewish Community of Oporto. The announcement was made 14 months ago and was part of a noisy background of political trafficking in Lisbon, journalistic corruption by a handful of unworthy professionals, the clamour of personalities whose only resumé is defamation and, finally, miscellaneous information in slanderous anonymous denunciations carried out by nocturnal robbers of law offices and private homes (including that of the former President of SIRESP), convicted slanderers and murderers, a highly dangerous criminal association which created a serious problem for the Portuguese rule of law and which has never yet seen the light of any prison cell, but rather the affections of the formal and informal control authorities. 2. The registrars responsible for the IRN inquiry know and have always known that the announcement contributed to emphasising the scandal then lived in Portuguese society concerning the Jewish Community of Oporto (accused anonymously of selling certificates) and of a citizen of Russian nationality who had allegedly obtained Portuguese nationality – as sworn to by journalistic corruption! – through Wikipedia trickery, Jewish Freemasonry, donations to the CIP/CJP, funding the Holocaust Museum and so on and so forth. Attached is a summary of the process of said citizen. Further particulars will be reserved for when the game is known in more detail.

3. The registrars responsible for the IRN inquiry agreed to be used and abused by the national media to attack the only Portuguese Jewish community with full synagogues, full museums, films, the one that certified Jews. They also knew that in the political gossip mills (in this case since March 2020), in the press, on TV and finally at DCIAP and PJ, the secular and religious leaders of the Jewish Community of Oporto were falsely accused of “having privileged knowledge of and connections in the registry offices, allowing them to be given priority as regards the applications made by Sephardic Jews to obtain Portuguese nationality”.

4. The registrars responsible for the IRN inquiry have always known that the Jewish Community of Oporto and its leadership had no relations, much less illicit ones, with the registry offices. Yet, they did nothing when they saw Kadoorie Synagogue being invaded like a brothel, the Community destroyed, the Chief Rabbi being transported to Lisbon for alleged “active corruption” of the registrars. The CIP/CJP was left to burn.

5. The registrars responsible for the IRN inquiry are co-responsible for what happened, for they could have stopped this completely barefaced antisemitic wave at any time, a wave that brought together the powers of society mixed with the rabble; they could have stopped the momentum of the judiciary authorities in Lisbon and not allowed the Oporto Jewish community to be burned at the stake. They could also have declared that the processes involving the Jewish Community of Oporto were those that complied with article 6 number 7 (and not article 6 number 6), based on State and Jewish records (and not on drawings impossible to verify), that the families of those being certified dated back to the Ottoman Empire, North Africa and certain European communities (and not to a country where there were no longer any Jews: Portugal) and that in seven years the organisation had certified less than 10% of the possible universe of candidates, if we count only the renowned families of the traditional Sephardic communities originating in the Iberian Peninsula, taking into account that no official of the Registry Office or any other State body would have been able to deal with the entities, realities and documents of the Jewish world.

6. The registrars responsible for the IRN inquiry kept calm and did not issue a statement, when they saw Lisbon’s judicial authorities attacking a religious minority that has been persecuted for millennia, involving searches in their sacred temple (their religion), in their museum (their culture), in their archives (their history), in their homes (their family), in their offices (their jobs) and so on. Many people who loved this country fled, went away, abandoning everything in fear of being persecuted, which they were, given the funereal desires of half a dozen mediocre politicians from Lisbon who were behind it all. No one will convince the CIP/CJP and history of the contrary.

7. The registrars responsible for the IRN inquiry remained passive and never made a single statement in favour of the CIP/CJP, at the time of searches that were made without the minimum observance of the principles of necessity, suitability and proportionality. Based on the unlikely theory of delinquents, which had long been causing a furore in the political and media world, all was searched and inspected, not forgetting the thirty suitcases of the granddaughter of the “Portuguese Dreyfus”. Furthermore, millions of documents and documents were seized, also illegally and have been under “review” for over a year, that is, a desperate operation to make something stick somewhere, with no hint of an apology in the meantime.

8. By their complicit silence, the registrars responsible for the IRN inquiry contributed to the fact that the strongest Jewish Community in Portugal, the largest Synagogue, the only Jewish Museum, the homes of leaders and employees, accountants, lawyers and others were investigated, searched, trampled on, spit upon and exposed in public as a “passport mafia”, an expression used by many delinquents on television with the support of something they called “actions and communiqués by the authorities”. Things went to the extreme of a person being punished for her surname, something that not even the Inquisition managed to do, despite being in operation for almost three centuries (1536-1821).

9. The registrars responsible for the IRN inquiry remained passive, and never issued a statement in favour of the CIP/CJP although they knew that the criminal "theory" (set up by high-ranking criminals and embraced by representatives of the people, journalists and sharp-tongued influencers) had at its base the IRN itself.

Here are the shameful allegations in the warrants that “allowed” the synagogue to be invaded as if it were a brothel: “There are suspicions regarding the relations between various companies, the Jewish Community of Oporto and its leaders, and the relevant Portuguese authorities”, “had privileged knowledge and connections in the registry offices, which allowed them to give priority to requests for the acquisition of nationality from Sephardic Jews”, “in exchange for pecuniary rewards, the origin of Sephardic Jews was falsely certified”, “in some cases the acquisition procedure is suspected to be illegal, such as Abramovich and Drahi”, “the H company, whose manager is the husband of Vice-President, signs the certificates and has been increasing drastically the values of services rendered”, “donations illicitly channelled to some members with positions in that community”, “a considerable part of the money is channelled into private pockets”.

(What a shame! Even the language of convicts, who will be arrested, has been quoted against a Jewish community in the 21st century.)

10. We request that you send us the final report as soon as possible or, alternatively, that you make a public statement to lift the criminal shadow that your inquiry has also cast over the CIP/CJP. In due time, we will present shocking details of the pogrom that we were the target of and we will also write, for History, in the form of a trilingual book, our own Indictment against individuals, following all the requirements of article 283 of the Portuguese Code of Criminal Procedure.
