Following the October 7, 2023, attacks, Alexander Caedmon Karp, CEO of Palantir Technologies immediately visited Israel, met with Prime Minister Netanyahu, and flew his company’s entire board to Tel Aviv in a show of solidarity. Palantir Technologies entered into a strategic partnership with the Ministry of Defense, providing advanced AI and data analytics software to support intelligence operations, with products including Gotham (data integration), Foundry (planning), GAIA (geospatial), and its Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP), in response to security threats.
At the same time, Karp became a vocal critic of what he calls "woke" culture, which he links to rising anti-Jewish sentiment, and condemned pro-Palestinian protests on university campuses, describing them as a "pagan religion". He urged the Jewish community to leave its "comfort zone" and develop new strategies to defend itself, framing the fight against antisemitism as essential for Judeo-Christian Western civilization.
Karp always stated that his Jewish identity informs his actions and that he considers it his duty to act and speak up against antisemitism. In 2024, he became the highest-paid CEO of a publicly traded company in the United States, with a "compensation actually paid" of almost $6.8 billion. In 2025 his net worth at times exceeded $18 billion, ranking him among the 200 wealthiest people in the world on the Forbes Real-Time Billionaires List and the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
Palantir has long been associated with conspiracy theories regarding "surveillance," "totalitarianism," and "big data tyranny" due to its early CIA funding, close work with Mossad, and to keep close ties to the Trump administration and figures like Elon Musk.
Karp says he is fed up with the antics that pollute the information universe of nations. Months ago, he remarked that "the peace activists are war activists" and said that protestors should be sent to North Korea. In addition, he recalled the Democrats' unresponsiveness to immigration, Iran and attitude to antisemitism. "They talk all the time about racism but won't talk about antisemitism".
