The Jewish Heritage Alliance is hosting a webinar on antisemitism on December 15th at 6 PM (Portugal time). Delve into the deeply rooted history of antisemitism, from ancient censure of Jewish rituals and traditions to persecution, expulsions, and massacres throughout the Middle Ages. This includes the darkest times in Sefardic history when tens of thousands of Jews were forcibly converted, expelled, and brutally murdered in their own towns and homes, a tragic foreshadowing of October 7th.
As antisemitism continues to evolve and threaten Jewish communities and our global society, this webinar will feature distinguished guests as well as a special screening of the film, “1506 – The Lisbon Genocide”, presented by the Jewish Community of Oporto.
