The Jewish and Catholic communities help in the fight against childhood cancer

When a family prays outside a hospital for days and nights without end for a child to be cured; when that unfortunate family is poor and lives very far from Oporto, these are indeed moments of absolute misery.

Casa Acreditar do Porto deals with the dynamics caused by childhood cancer. It provides rooms, food and clothing for these families who have come from far away in the hope of saving their children.

The Jewish community of Oporto and the Catholic Diocese are honoured to provide material and spiritual aid to such a beautiful, just and passionate project. For five years now, this aid has been forthcoming and will be maintained indefinitely.
