The director of BragaCine, Artur Barros Moreira, and the board member of the Jewish Community of Oporto, Dr. Michael Rothwell.
The film "Sefarad", directed by Luis Ismael, was awarded three prizes at the 21st Festival Bragacine - Braga International Independent Film Festival, which was held on 11 and 12 December.
An international jury awarded this feature film the Augusta Grand Prize for best film, the Augusta Prize for best director (Luis Ismael) and the Augusta Prize for best actor (Rodrigo Santos).
The statuette of the Augusta Grand Prize is in the center of the picture.
The statuette is now in the Jewish Museum of Oporto, together with a display of all the awards received by films produced by the Jewish Community of Oporto.
Last year, the film "1618", also produced by the Jewish Community of Porto and directed by Luis Ismael, received the Best Portuguese Film Award at the 20th BragaCine Festival.
