Jerusalem Quartet in Lisbon

The Jerusalem Quartet, which started in 1996, consists of four eminent Israeli musicians, with a broad repertoire of performances with works by Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Schubert, Johannes Brahms, Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel and Dmitri Shostakovich. Internationally famous and recognised, it received the BBC Music Magazine Awards.

This is the third time that the Jerusalem Quartet is present in Gulbenkian Music Programmes.
