On Sunday, September 3rd, the Lisbon Congress Center welcomed a hundred people to joyfully watch the musical show by Lehakat Tzahal - a musical band made up of young people from the Israeli armed forces. The event was held by the Jewish Community of Lisbon in partnership with Keren Hayesod as part of the celebrations of the 75th anniversary of the State of Israel and the "European Day of Jewish Culture".

On Twitter, the Israeli embassy in Portugal rejoiced at the event: "There is nothing more Israeli than the band of the Israel Defense Forces. The band arrived in Portugal to sing and bring joy to the Israeli community in Lisbon, in honor of the "European Day of Jewish Culture". As part of the celebrations, some individuals were present, such as Yotam Kreiman (deputy ambassador), Revital Shapira (ambassador's wife) and Catarina Castro (the Portuguese Minister of Justice) [who has been a frequent presence at the Jewish events in Lisbon].
