B’nai B’rith CEO to Receive 2026 AHEPA Academy of Achievement Award in Civics and Philanthropy

B’nai B’rith CEO Daniel S. Mariaschin will receive the 2026 AHEPA Academy of Achievement Award in Civics and Philanthropy at the 47th Biennial AHEPA Congressional Banquet on May 13, at The Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Mariaschin is concluding a landmark tenure of nearly 40 years with B’nai B’rith—28 years as CEO—marking the end of a professional career defined by service to the Jewish community and by global diplomacy.

AHEPA Supreme President E. Chris Kaitson noted:

“In his role as Chief Executive Officer, he tackled the issues that impede international peace by defending his community and, in his capacity as an architect of international solidarity and cooperation.

His leadership proved essential to launching the modern Hellenic-Jewish alliance and the Trilateral Leadership Missions, with the Order of AHEPA, B’nai B’rith, the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, and AHI, which, through the “3+1” diplomatic framework, opened new doors for cooperation among the Hellenic Republic, the Republic of Cyprus, and the State of Israel.

For these reasons, the Order of AHEPA acknowledges Mr. Mariaschin for his long-standing friendship and commitment to the Hellenic diaspora. Accordingly, AHEPA will bestow upon him this prestigious award.”

AHEPA is the largest and oldest Greek American organization with 50,000 members in 400 chapters across the Globe. Founded in 1922 to protect immigrants from the evils of bigotry, it promotes the ideals of Hellenism, philanthropy, education, civic responsibility, and family and individual excellence.
