The Jewish Community of Oporto published a video showing its painting exhibition, which is currently in the library of the Kadoorie synagogue. Flor Mizrahi, a Venezuelan painter of the Jewish Community of Oporto coordinated a team of painters and interpreted the long history of Jews in the city.
"In cultural terms, the Jewish Community of Oporto has produced films and museums, as well as music, literature, and even an art gallery", says Mizrahi. She reminds us that "we all will die but there are things that will remain forever. Our history is immortalized here", she added.
The beautiful library with three rooms is a place where now the arts come together and complement each other. Architecture, literature and painting intersect here and take us through the history of the Jewish Community of Oporto. Thousands of books in 10 different languages, on the history of Jewish civilization, from antiquity to the present day.
