David DePape, accused of breaking into the home of US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and assaulting her husband, Paul Pelosi, is responsible for online publications of a denialist and anti-Semitic nature.

As published by the ADL Center on Extremism, which presents a preliminary assessment, DePape “created several increasingly extreme blogs, where he posted a range of anti-government, conspiratorial, antisemitic and white supremacist content”.

One of the sites apparently run by DePape has a category dedicated to anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, including Holocaust denial. Furthermore, the man accuses Jews of being responsible for Russia's war against Ukraine.

In a statement, Israeli President Isaac Herzog condemned the attack. “Shocked by the vicious attack on Paul Pelosi and relieved that my friend Speaker Pelosi, who welcomed me so kindly this week, is safe”, he declares.

The Israel's president met with the congressional leader on Tuesday in Washington.
