From the River to the Sea: The Jewish Community of Oporto screens documentary about the October 7 massacre

The Jewish Community of Oporto welcomed a group of members and friends for the screening of the documentary From the River to the Sea, a film about the war in Israel produced by Brasil Paralelo.

At the opening of the event, the president of the Jewish Community of Oporto, Gabriel Senderowicz, emphasized that the documentary is very well-produced, with important historical context, and that it should be shared with as many people as possible.

The event included the online participation of Major Rafael Rozenszajn, spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces in Portuguese. In his speech, Major Rozenszajn said that this film production is essential for combating the false narratives that arise in this delicate context Israel is currently experiencing.

The documentary is available on YouTube for free viewing.

About the documentary:

The phrase "From the River to the Sea," which gives the documentary its name, refers to the territory between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. This phrase is frequently used in pro-Palestinian protests worldwide that call for the end of Israel. To understand what is happening in Israel and Gaza, Brasil Paralelo traveled to the Middle East and interviewed religious authorities, professors, military personnel, and civilians — including survivors of the October 7 massacre, families of victims, and children from Gaza.
