Albano Pinto, former director of the DCIAP, under fire

Yesterday, May 25th, in an interview with CNN-Portugal, Judge Ivo Rosa once again revolted against the eight illegal criminal investigations that illegally targeted him between 2011 and 2022. The Judge directly revolted against "the top of the Public Prosecutor's Office hierarchy," which he included at the head "the director of the DCIAP, a department that reports directly to the Attorney General's Office."

The director of the DCIAP at the time was the socialist Albano Pinto. The Attorney General at the time was the socialist Lucilia Gago. And the Minister of Justice at the time was the socialist Francisca Van Dunem.

Ivo Rosa's complaints seem intertwined with a "Jewish issue" that has been denounced by the Jewish Community of Porto, given the many similarities between the cases. 1) The "criminal" proceedings (against Ivo Rosa and the Community) took place between 2021 and 2022 and involved the socialists Albano Pinto, Lucilia Gago, and Francisca Van Dunem.

2) Ivo Rosa complains about an anonymous email regarding which Albano Pinto decided to open an investigation. An anonymous email with the same characteristics targeted Patrick Drahi, the owner of MEO-Altice, and in this case, Albano Pinto also said, "Yes, I will open a criminal investigation here at the DCIAP" to investigate Drahi.

3) Ivo Rosa has a flower surname, just like a distant "relative" of his, who has been called – based on his family's genealogy – Abel Rosa Rocha da Leiva Abramovich. Albano Pinto's DCIAP (Department of Investigation and Prosecution of Serious Crimes) also opened an inquiry against the latter, and for this purpose it wasn't even necessary to receive an anonymous email; it was enough for Van Dunen to send him a newspaper article that the Community found out had been commissioned.

4) Ivo Rosa complains that Albano Pinto opened an investigation against him for the crime of corruption, due to the fact that in a wiretapped phone conversation a prisoner spoke abstractly about "a thousand euros for the judge." Worse than that happened in Porto. It was enough for an anonymous source to mention the existence of a supposed "powerful man in the Jewish Community of Porto," for the DCIAP to conclude from this childish phrase that the person in question would certainly corrupt registry offices (which he didn't even know about).

Ivo Rosa Scandal or Patrick Drahi Scandal?
An anonymous email is sent to the prosecutor's office. Full text: "The Case of Patrick's Purchase of Portuguese Nationality." "Drahi." This seven-word text was considered - by Albano Pinto's DCIAP (Department of Investigation and Prosecution of Serious Crimes) - a "crime report" with factual and legal elements that justified the opening of a criminal investigation. That's not all, there was worse. From the seven-word text, it was also concluded that Drahi was suspected of having bought Portuguese nationality from the Jewish Community of Porto, and that the religious leader of this community had received large sums of money from Drahi.

In the midst of this madness, the Kadoorie synagogue was raided by police. They were patiently informed that Patrick Drahi had been certified by the Jewish community of Lisbon. They were informed that Drahi was from a family from Morocco to whom the law referred as "the returnees." They were informed that Drahi's relatives had been part of that community in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. They were informed that these relatives had engraved their names on the Ner Tamid (inscription) of the synagogue. They were informed that they were all buried in the city's Jewish cemetery.

Days after it was discovered that the Jewish Community of Porto did not know Patrick Drahi, the former director of SIRESP was dismissed from her post (a decision made by Francisca Van Dunen) and shortly afterwards saw her house burgled at night by strange professional thieves, who stole her computers.

Nothing special. The day before the opening of the investigation at the DCIAP by Albano Pinto, professional thieves burgled the office of a female lawyer from the Community, taking the "server" with them.

"It is not up to you to complete the task"

Halakha requires that conflicts be pursued only for self-defense. It is a duty to challenge an unjust status quo. Passivity is not an option. "You have to fight and suffer," but "It is not up to you to complete the task."

Who tried to eliminate Ilan Cohen from Djerba a day after he sent a petition to the Portuguese parliament then led by the socialist Augusto Santos Silva in 2022?

The Kohanim (priests) of Djerba are historically recognized as direct, unbroken descendants of the biblical high priesthood and are deeply revered. God’s punishment for those who rebelled against the first Cohen was both swift and absolute. The 250 conspirators were swallowed, along with their households and all their possessions. Cosmic balance is inevitable.
