Early in Fyodor Dostoevsky’s 1869 novel, The Idiot, Prince Myshkin recounts the psychological agony of a man who was led to the scaffold to be executed for an offense. During the five minutes he thought he had left to live, he was overwhelmed by the thought of how much he would treasure life minute by minute if he could just survive. The man was granted a last-minute reprieve. Years later, when the Prince was asked if that man succeeded in living a life where he "reckoned up" every single minute, Myshkin told her: "Oh, no, he told me himself, he didn't live that way at all and lost many, many minutes."

Throughout human history, those who at the last minute escaped death did not fulfill any of their promises. The vast majority of men, being so ordinary and basic, always make grand promises to themselves that they will make the most of life and do more to leave a meaningful legacy for future generations. Yet, after a single night's sleep, they wake up just as they were days before, returning to their habitual rhythm—to the trivialities and vices in which they have become entangled.

This human tendency towards banality is compounded by something much worse: stupidity, which harms the stupid themselves and others. Among the great dangers that humanity faces, without a doubt, stupidity is one of the greatest. A universal problem arises when the elite is composed essentially of stupidity. Schools, universities, newsrooms, the civil service, the justice system, NGOs, banks, and parts of the corporate world—this is where the categories of thought are manufactured. The people behind them are not monsters; many genuinely desire justice and prosperity for all. Yet, the underlying software was fundamentally flawed. Consequence: The Empire of Idiots.

The deeply held convictions spread by the elites have, as a rule, never been contemplated by thinkers possessing even a modicum of knowledge regarding the history of civilizations and ancestral ethical codes, much less about the way the Universe works.

Values are discussed as if they depended on always changing.human will. Progress is spoken of as if it hinged on material inventions rather than on the better application of truths known for millennia. Democracy is discussed as if it was not an aristocracy which only is distinguished from the old elite by its total lack of culture. Freedom is spoken of as if it could exist with a capital "F."

This is the Empire of idiots. They are the leaders. The system that produced them, selected them, and gave them their positions has no desire to be evaluated—or even helped—by anyone. That's why they exist. They can "work" as they please, no one bothers them. The system they champion boils down to promote an animalistic liberty and the act of handing millions of fools a paper ballot every four years so they can choose one of the few parties pre-selected by the existing cartel. Stupidity is surrounded by multitudes that validate it.

The "talking classes" believe they "think deeply," despite never having examined the premises of what they so enthusiastically champion. They are mere peddlers of snake oil. They have never had their entrenched ideas subjected to pressure or scrutiny. They take offense at anyone who questions them. Meaningful debate is impossible.

Opinion makers hold firm views on everything without having analyzed a single thing through rigorous critical thought. It does not matter if they are articulate. The very topics under debate are of no interest to anyone of substance.

The environment is hostile to deep thought. We are witnessing the collapse of even a minimal level of intellectualism. Vacuous hunches circulate; ideas do not. No one seems to complain, quite the opposite. An entire scheme of awards has been created so that more fools emerge each day to swell the ranks of that society. A collective suicide continues at a good pace.

Stupidity does not bother those who live within it. The stupid feeds his soul with what he sees and hears in the newspapers and on television. The power of propaganda is enormous. If all the means of culture, teaching, education and the press were used to promote that human beings should marry cats, there is no doubt that in a few years a large number of people would be marrying small felines.

Thinkers have vanished. Perhaps half a dozen exist in each nation. They do not emerge from the environment, the masses, or the press, but from solitary meditation. They have no need to seek the establishment's opinion. Man is the author of his own existence and must triumph in order to be able to affirm, at the end of his life, that he is satisfied with his performance.

The greatest damage the modern Empire of Idiots have been inflicted upon the world is the way it rejects everything valid within the Jewish world. Jews—once hated while stateless—are now hated also as they are possessing a state. The system that is hostile to them tries to define and evaluate what is good and what is bad in the Jewish world. Nothing new, it's always been like this. It is necessary to know how to live with this immutable reality that spans millennia.

We reflected on all this and much more yesterday, on 10th of Tishrei, 5787. The goal of Kippur isn't guilt or self-flagellation, but clarity. We map out a path to return and teshuvah and do better in the year ahead, about each one's mission in the Universe, a mission that, although small, is part of the process of Divine Creation that never ceases.

There is a close microorganism that offers lessons. Contrary to what one might have predicted fifteen years ago regarding the "ghost building" of the Kadoorie synagogue in Oporto, today we witness the organization at its peak, the temple ultimately fell into the hands of Chabad-Lubavitch due to a series of incredible circumstances, and along this way of success of a single community, obviously a new "Portuguese Dreyfus Affair" nearly played out when corrupt state officials sought to label the author of these lines with the very traits they themselves possess.

The power of idiots in the face of the constellations is zero. It will always be. The Kippur ceremony just held at the synagogue demonstrated how the Universe operates—invariably based on the constellations it projects, and never on the will of any single person or even a group in state power. The same will happen with those who plot conspiracies against the Jewish state that is invincible on the mystical plane.

HaShem does 50 percent of the work, men have their share of responsibility too. Amateur mistakes are not acceptable. Life is too serious to be taken as if it were children's play. The outcome of the elections in Israel is a matter of indifference, provided that the Shoftim —the elder sages of the generation—are heeded and followed.

In 1967, Israel retook the Temple Mount. Rabbi Shlomo GorenZ"L, military officer, and Talmudic scholar who served as a primary legal authority on Jewish law, sought to fully reassert Jewish sovereignty there. At the same time, the philosopher Yeshayahu Leibowitz Z"L opposed Israel ruling over a hostile population of two million people.

Currently, we know what happened. Imprepared Israeli secular elites decided on a course contrary to what Goren and Leibowitz had proposed. Half a century later, the tragic results are well known. Hamas even dubbed the recent October 7th massacre the "Al-Aqsa Flood." It is never possible to fail again. The Shoftim know what needs to be done.

Another naive error appears to have been the current war waged against Iran. Today the situation is worse than before. If the logic behind the hostilities was to restore power to the Persians and sweep away Sunni extremism—which poses a major danger—then the means employed were baffling errors. A ground campaign would have been impossible in any case; it would have required 1.5 million troops. The active-duty U.S. Army has fewer than 450,000 soldiers. This figure does not differ greatly from the size of the mobilized Jewish army.

If Israel’s trouble for decades has been a failure to properly heed the Shoftim, what is happening around the world is far worse. Idiocy thrives. Idiots are in power all over the world. Ukraine lies in total ruin as a nation. It remains barred from NATO. The Ukrainian flags once displayed on balconies in Brussels or Paris now mark graves stretching for kilometers in Kyiv or Odesa. The true death toll will shock many. Budanov—or whoever eventually leads Ukraine—will demand answers from those who sponsored it all and he will not accept platitudes about the defense of freedom.

Europe is economically and irreversibly devastated as a continent. The EU is a mere NGO without rights, without territory, and without respect for the continent's age-old values. The fate awaiting the pathetic elites sitting there is not hard to guess. They must either change or perish. Issued just a few days ago regarding the UK, the warning from Amichai Chikli, Israel's Diaspora Affairs Minister, could apply to all of Europe: “We in Israel love you. We will stand together against the globalists and Islamists who seek to impose Sharia law on you. And those days are coming soon.”

Let us hope those days truly arrive. There is a strong possibility that the elites will plunge the continent into radioactive waste. The story of the Leipzig drone speaks volumes about the times of imbecility in which we live. It is hard to imagine anything more amateurish. No intelligence agency in the world would make the errors alleged by propaganda sources. More than 600 million Europeans are in the hands of these idiots. Somewhere in the Atlantic, a single submarine carries six Poseidon nuclear torpedoes. The torpedo's yield is 100,000 kilotons. Hiroshima was totally devastated by just 15 kilotons.

May the Empire of idiots collapse as soon as possible. The world is too beautiful to put up with them any longer. The future no longer belongs to a handful of globalists who believe they own the world. It belongs to sovereign nations. The ancients used to say that one's homeland, like one's mother, may not be the best, but it is ours.

Some are claiming that a global elite wants to drastically reduce the world’s population from 8 billion down to 1 billion or 500 million. It is not impossible for a group of deranged men to harbor such ideas. If the plots and depravities associated with Epstein's island were possible, then anything is possible.

However, something much more predictable, and in the opposite direction, is associated with global hyper population. According to the Talmud and Zohar, the massive growth of humanity is a sign that the "treasury of souls" is emptying, signaling that the Messianic era is drawing near.

There is a "Tree of Souls" that blossoms and produces new human spirits.These souls fall into the Guf (the Treasury of Souls) to await their entry into the physical world. The vast number of souls currently living on Earth is a sign that the pre-ordained quota of souls is nearing completion. Every newborn child is seen as bringing the world one step closer to redemption. The world to come will remember with astonishment what was once the unbelievable Empire of Idiots.
