The Muslim Brotherhood does not give up on its intentions in relation to world Jewry and the Jewish state, bringing together the worst that exists in the Sunni and Shiite worlds. Iran launched multiple barrages of ballistic missiles at Israel on Sunday, June 6, citing retaliation for recent Israeli airstrikes in southern Beirut, Lebanon.
In direct response, the Israeli military launched retaliatory airstrikes targeting central and western Iran.However, following heavy diplomatic pressure and a direct demand from US President Donald Trump to "stop shooting," the Israeli government has reportedly ordered its military to halt preparations for further immediate attacks.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, however, left a warning. "Israel will not allow Iran to dictate its security operations", signaling that Israel intends to continue targeting Hezbollah infrastructure in Lebanon despite Iran's threats.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) fired multiple missile waves targeting Israeli military sites, including the Ramat David airbase, declaring it a warning against Israeli operations in Lebanon. One missile hit the southern city of Beersheba. Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi rebels also launched a missile toward Israel and threatened to resume targeting Israeli-affiliated ships in the Red Sea.
Defying initial US warnings to not immediately retaliate, the Israeli Air Force struck military facilities across western and central Iran. Yet, the Israeli administration is balancing active military operations with intense diplomatic pressure from the United States. Netanyahu instructed the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to pause preparations for a subsequent wave of strikes against Iran.
Despite the pause, Israeli military officials stated they remain prepared for several days of fighting or a prolonged campaign if the ceasefire completely collapses. Nationwide safety measures, including temporary school closures, were enacted.
Following the initial exchange, Iran’s armed forces announced a suspension of their current attacks on Israel. However, Tehran explicitly warned that it would resume and deliver harsher strikes if Israel conducts further aggressive operations in Lebanon.
Hezbollah has spent decades endangering not only the security of Israelis living in the Jewish state, but also sponsoring Western elites through drug trafficking and criminal groups such as the PCC and CV, recently declared terrorist organizations by the Trump administration.
