Israel achieved a major result at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 by finishing in second place during the grand final held in Vienna, Austria. Represented by Noam Bettan with the song “Michelle,” the country earned 343 points, emerging as one of the standout performances of the night.

The Israeli performance received strong support from viewers and secured one of the country’s best recent results in the competition, reinforcing Israel’s reputation as one of Eurovision’s most consistent competitors.

Despite Israel’s impressive showing, the title went to Bulgaria, which claimed its first-ever Eurovision victory with singer DARA and the song “Bangaranga,” scoring 516 points.

Romania finished in third place with 296 points.
