In a demonstration for better housing in the city, the Israelis from Oporto who work in real estate were accused of jeopardizing a fundamental right of citizens.

Phrases such as “We don’t want to rent from murderous Zionists” and "Clean the world of Jews" were on display in the city of Oporto, home to the largest Portuguese Jewish community.

The Holocaust Museum of Porto celebrated International Holocaust Day last Friday by hosting approximately 2,000 elementary and high school students from schools all over the country.

Oporto Jewish community is one of the founder members.

The visit comes after intense criticism of how X, formerly Twitter, tackles antisemitic posts and just weeks after Mr Musk apologised for endorsing an antisemitic conspiracy theory.

António Guterres didn’t mention Benjamin Netanyahu by name, but he criticized the Israeli prime minister harshly in a speech in Uganda over the weekend.
