Many realized that the Jews were back in Porto to produce the culture that once made Portugal a splendid nation.
The historical films that the organization produced are part of its mission to promote Jewish history and stemmed from a broader strategic decision.
“Chiski Chizki, Avram Avinu, and Rozhinkes Mit Mandlen are the three songs that best represent the repertoire of the Mekor Haim Choir”.
The program will include his original setting of Shalom Aleichem, arranged specially for the choir.
Dr. Ken Carlson will present a lecture at the Jewish Museum of Oporto on Friday, February 20, 2026.
