EP president given King David Award in recognition of support for Jewish community.
The date corresponds to the 84th Anniversary of Kristallnacht ("Night of Broken Glass"), a pogrom organized by the Nazis on the night of November 9, 1938.
The event had representatives from European countries, from Portugal to Ukraine.
The repairs were carried out with funding from the German government, the Central Board of Jewish Communities in Greece and national and national and international donors.
The Jewish and Holocaust Museums of Oporto celebrate the International Day against Antisemitism on November 9th.
