The representative of Keren Hayesod in Oporto, Portugal, Dr. Deborah Elijah, announced that the local Jewish community will reinforce its support for Keren Hayesod to prevent senior healthcare needs, hunger and malnutrition, to provide a home for children at social risk and to give them the technological education they need to succeed in life. The community has supported Keren Hayesod for the past six years, in partnership with the Israeli embassy in Portugal and B'nai B'rith International.
