After years of attacks on Zionism, two human rights organizations recognize the unique global significance of Israel’s Declaration of Independence.
The hope was replaced in subsequent years by Jewish resilience and the defense of Jewish human rights.
On September 1st, the Jewish Community of Oporto celebrated the European Day of Jewish Culture.
The programme included visits to Kadoorie Synagogue, the Holocaust Museum and the Jewish Museum of Oporto.
Thousands of people participate in the “European Days of Jewish Culture” in Oporto The Synagogue and the Jewish and Holocaust Museums had great programming throughout the day.
