Webinar discusses feminism’s silence on the Israeli victims of October 7

Tonight at 8 PM, a webinar will bring together experts to discuss why the feminist movement has ignored the Israeli victims of the October 7 attacks. The event will feature Catalan journalist Pilar Rahola, known for her defense of human rights; activist and influencer Deborah Apeloig, granddaughter of Holocaust survivors and founder of Tikun Talks; and Karina Engelbart, a former Israeli hostage kidnapped along with her daughters, who will share her testimony about the horrors she endured in captivity.

The conversation, which will be in Spanish, will be moderated by Combat Antisemitism Hispano coordinator Nurit Caplivschi. The discussion will address the impact of the attacks on women's rights and the silence of parts of the feminist movement in the face of the violence suffered by the victims. Organizers encourage public participation in the event, which will be streamed online.
