Yesterday, the European Jewish Association (EJA), in cooperation with the EPP Group in the European Parliament and the House of Liberty, held an event at the European Parliament addressing "Iran Regime Alliances: Destabilising Influences in Europe and the Middle East."

The event featured a panel of speakers who provided insights into the impact of Iran's alliances:

MP Alireza Akhondi , President of the House of Liberty and member of the Swedish Parliament's Civil Affairs Committee, discussed the political and societal consequences of Iran's actions.

MP Ulysse Ellian, member of the Dutch House of Representatives and the Justice and Security and Foreign Affairs Committee, examined the security challenges posed to Europe.

H.E. Mr Vsevolod Chentsov, Ambassador and Head of Mission of Ukraine to the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community, highlighted the broader regional implications of these alliances.

The discussions underscored the extensive effects of Iran's alliances, from destabilising the Middle East to creating security vulnerabilities in Europe. The event emphasised the need for international cooperation and strategic policy responses to address these challenges.
