The Israeli Ambassador to Portugal Oren Rozenblat was at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, where he met with Portuguese MEPs Ana Catarina Mendes, Ana Miguel Pedro, Marta Temido, Francisco Assis, João Cotrim de Figueiredo, António Tânger Corrêa, André Rodrigues, and Tiago Moreira de Sá.
The participants discussed the current situation in the Middle East and the issue of Israeli hostages held captive in the Gaza Strip, including those with Portuguese nationality, as well as the volatile situation in Syria.
