The Luso-Portuguese Association for Israel (ALPI) has placed a billboard in Lisbon, thanking the President of the United States, Donald Trump, for his role in promoting peace in Israel.

The event will take place on Friday, October 31, with the author and publisher in attendance.

Parliamentary debate focused largely on the issue of the burqa, a garment that covers the entire body and face and is worn by some Muslim women.

Of the 28 bodies that Israel was supposed to receive, only 9 have been delivered. The bodies of 2 Portuguese-Israeli hostages still remain in Gaza.

Among the hostages who returned to Israel, three hold Portuguese citizenship.
