Synagogue, museums, and kosher restaurants open doors to the public in one of the rare opportunities to explore the city’s Jewish heritage.
The event was organized in partnership between the Jewish Community of Porto and the International Zionist Organization of Jewish Women of Rio Grande do Sul (WIZO RS).
The Mekor Haim Choir will perform a special concert in the beautiful Kadoorie Mekor Haim Synagogue on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at 2 p.m.
The local Jewish community has prepared the event in cooperation with the Israeli embassy in Lisbon and the National Library of Israel.
More than 100 people gathered in Lisbon for the screening of “2000 Kidnapped Jewish Children”, a film that reveals a little-known episode of contemporary Jewish history.
