This Monday, March 11, 2024, the Jewish Community of Oporto marked the “Day of Shame” by lighting the candles of a menorah in front of the Kadoorie Mekor Haim Synagogue.

“France is a leading country in Europe in terms of human rights and must intervene to put an end to this attack on international law and the Jewish people”, the students claim.

A tombstone/memorial was placed next to the cemetery lake with the names of the immediate fatal victims of those horrible events.
