Israeli Ambassador to Portugal received leaders of various religions to break the Ramadan fast

On April 26, the Israeli ambassador to Portugal Dor Shapira received representatives of the Jewish, Muslim and Christian communities at his residence for the Iftar dinner, which marks the end of the daily fasting of Muslims during the month of Ramadan.

Diplomats representing countries with large Muslim communities and political personalities, such as the Mayor of Lisbon, also participated in the event. "This was the first time of an initiative that we intend to repeat every year. It is the best way to celebrate together our faith, that of the children of Abraham", declared the ambassador.
