2,500 students participated in the event supported by the British Embassy in Portugal.
The organization reacted to some comments on social media with a request for compensation of 300 thousand euros.
The event included the online participation of Major Rafael Rozenszajn, spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces in Portuguese.
Israeli Ambassador: “The key difference between today and then is the Jewish people were unprotected whereas now we have a strong state with the right as well as the ability to defend itself.”
It will take place in the Holocaust Museum of Porto on Thursday November 7, 2024, at 11 a.m.
