The largest Israeli cinema event in Portugal takes place between 10 and 16th March. "Israeli Cinema Days” reaches its thirteen edition. As usual, the films are screened at Cinema City Alvalade, in Lisbon. You will be able to view a selection of the best films to come out of Israel in the last year, a cycle bringing together Portuguese and Israeli cultures to show the many details of today’s society and daily life in Israel, through different eyes.
FORGIVENESS
Days of war in Southern Israel. It is the start of the Jewish year and in accordance with religious Jewish law, these then days of repentance are also days to ask for forgiveness. Nissan, an Orthodox Jew, feels he cannot go on until he receives forgiveness from his friend Shaul.

SAVING SHULI
Shuli travels to Colombia after finishing his military service in the Israel Defence Forces. The group plunge into the jungle and have a series of adventures before finding its way back.

Michael, aged 50, a journalist with The New York Times, travels the world writing about major cities from a personal point of view.
