Portugal continues to Agree with the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood on young people

At a time when Israel, the US, China, India, and Russian Federation consider the Muslim Brotherhood a "terrorist organization," and when politicians from many countries face investigations by Israeli intelligence regarding connections with criminal groups such us the ones operating from Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates has officially removed all British universities from its approved list of institutions for state-funded scholarships. The Ministry of Higher Education has cut off federal funding for tuition, living stipends, and travel for thousands of students who previously sought degrees in the UK. This decision was driven by concerns that Emirati students may be exposed to Islamist radicalisation and the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood on UK campuses.

The UAE has reportedly grown frustrated with the UK's refusal to proscribe the Muslim Brotherhood, despite official UK reviews in 2014 concluding the group's beliefs were contrary to British values. The large number of rapes of defenseless girls also did not provoke reactions from the British state, except to conceal this data from public knowledge, so that citizens would not manifest against Pakistanis what the government called "Islamophobia".

The United Arab Emirates designates the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organisation. Emirati officials stated they "don't want their kids to be radicalised on UK campuses". However, an organization considered terrorist in Arab and Muslim countries enjoys freedom of movement in UK and European Union in general.

The Forum of European Muslim Youth and Student Organisations, which acts as the youth arm of the FIOE, targets university campuses across Europe to promote an ideological framework and cultivate a "European Muslim elite". In addition, the Federation of Islamic Organisations in Europe (FIOE), identified as a Muslim Brotherhood-linked umbrella organization in Europe, is active in building networks across various European countries, including Portugal.

These organizations often present themselves to university authorities as the authorized representatives of Muslim communities, which allows them to influence student dialogue, organize events, and manage campus Islamic centers. These activities are generally aimed at fostering a specific, politically oriented, and often ideologically radical interpretation of Islam within the student body.

While direct financial links to terrorism are rarely demonstrated in public reports, these groups' activities are identified by Israeli security analysts as part of a broader strategy of "influence operations" that contribute to radicalization and the promotion of a specific Islamist ideology.

Portugal

The Muslim Brotherhood project in Portugal fits into the group's strategy in two hundred countries, given that it is intended to create a World Caliphate.

More than the results obtained by the Brotherhood in terms of national public policies and media coverage of world events, universities have also been involved in the strange game that will lead to the next Civilization. There are objective links between Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated organizations and universities in Portugal, primarily through student outreach, campus presence, and the promotion of ideological narratives. The Brotherhood's entities often operate under the guise of community representation or student welfare.

While the majority of Muslim community interaction, including that of Ismaili groups, often involves national-level agreements and social-cultural integration, the results start to be more than visible in the last five years.

In 2022, a law in favor of the Jews from Portuguese origin ended due to a "palestinian question" of the media mainstream and socialist government. The Portuguese Power System called that law a "national shame", it treated wealthy Jews like Patrick Drahi as "suspects", called the strongest community in Europe in terms of culture "opulent", called the leaders of the Jewish community "non-believers." It was an absolute and lethal attack, aimed at killing the targeted individuals through imprisonment and illness.

At the same time, dozens of thousands of radical Muslims entered the country without control and there had been a massive increase in Iranian students moving to Portugal due to favorable immigration policies and academic partnerships, which makes the Portuguese universities a hub for Iranian academic mobility.

In 2023, the largest Portuguese synagogue was vandalized with "Apartheid" inscriptions. This symbolic attack was orchestrated by groups aligned with the political left in coordination with their Islamic colleagues, with whom they organize protests and pressure groups. Protests were always primarily organized by groups like Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) and the Movement for the Rights of the Palestinian People and for Peace in the Middle East (MPPM).

In 2024, lists of Jews from Porto were displayed in newspapers and the rejection of the Jewish Israelite was even greater than the rejection of the traditional Jew. Inspired by global "student intifada" movements, students in Portugal established several encampments to protest the war in Gaza. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) and cooperation document was signed between the Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon. Students occupied the Faculty of Psychology, demanding a ceasefire and the total severance of relations with Israeli institutions. At the Nova Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, students and the Head of the Palestinian Diplomatic Mission in Portugal planted an olive tree as a symbol of resistance. Universities of Porto and Coimbra: similar encampments were held during this period, focusing on "divestment" and ending academic cooperation with Israel.

In 2025, Nova University in Lisbon issued a formal statement of solidarity with Palestine, citing the destruction of Palestinian higher education institutions with which it had academic cooperation relations. While officials and students stated their goals were focused on human rights and anti-colonialism, global reports from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) have noted that some university protests internationally featured chants or rhetoric that critics interpret as endorsing Hamas.

Meanwhile, there was an attempted poisoning of Israeli Jews at a music festival, in the face of silence from public and media authorities. Yet, the government pompously inaugurated the Palestinian Embassy in Lisbon, a place where the laws of the terrorist movement prevail. On the map of the Middle East displayed at the embassy's entrance, the State of Israel does not exist.

In 2026, the Iranian Ambassador to Portugal met with representatives from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon regarding this cooperation, with news of this activity being highlighted. This diplomatic action may seem isolated and natural if the context in which it occurs is not carefully considered and understood. A new protocol was signed on February 11, 2026, between the Portuguese government and the Ismaili Imamat to enhance scientific and technological cooperation.

And now?

There are currently four major forces in the world: the Western bloc with a Christian base, spearheaded by Washington, the Eurasian bloc commanded from Shanghai and Moscow, the universal Jewish bloc commanded from Jerusalem, and the Muslim Brotherhood, which is not based in a fixed location, so as not to be extinguished overnight.
