Open Letter to Tucker Carlson, by David Garrett

Open Letter to Tucker Carlson, by David Garrett

Tucker Carlson was named "Antisemite of the Year" by the organization StopAntisemitism and faces a growing number of accusations of antisemitism. At the heart of these accusations are his persistent condemnations of the alleged pro-Jewish and pro-Israel lobby based in the United States of America, which is admittedly the greatest global power in terms of ideological influence.

1. Despite the seriousness of his claims, which recently came to attack Chabad Lubavitch itself, accused of being behind the war in Iran in pursuit of its desire to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem, we believe that the political commentator is not – technically speaking – an antisemite, a definition that should characterize someone who has a negative perception of the individual and collective Jew and who deliberately acts to defame them – be it the Jewish State, the Jewish community, or the most prominent Jewish leaders –, silencing his/her own conscience in order to not recognize, or avoid recognizing, any Jewish merits, any value of Jewish history or culture. Overall, the antisemite hates the millennia-old Jewish work around the world and believes that Jews are harmful to humanity. Anyone who genuinely believes – and publicly declares – that Israel dominates US politics and that a Hasidic movement provokes calamities that harm millions of people solely to see the Cohen Gadol very soon, may be considered delusional, albeit momentarily, and their statements may be considered antisemitic and inciting violence against Jews, but we do not believe that the label of antisemite is appropriate for this.

2. Throughout this essay, we will attempt to present some ideas in the hope that one day Tucker Carlson may change his attitude, given that his personal success has always resulted from study and analysis, and not from fads or advantages, as he is an independent, cultured and fearless man, capable of holding the attention of millions of people who listen to him with passion.

3. First of all, we believe that Carlson has failed to defend himself against the accusations of antisemitism leveled against him. It would have been better to say that he is so fascinated by Jewish merits throughout history that he can only find two alternative ways to explain them: either through the action of God, or through a global conspiracy. To deny that he is antisemitic because he is "totally anti-Nazi" is to forget that Nazism died almost a century ago and that the antisemitism that exists in the West today is fundamentally a Soviet stlyle one. USSR antisemitism sought to kill the lifeblood of the Jewish people – belief, culture, strength, State – and, to do so with impunity, fabricated the Jew that it loved, in reality, the "Good Comrade." The system relied on the complicity of a handful of Moscow Jews who have always been shamefully tied to the "party."

Modern Soviet-inspired antisemitism manifests itself today in a vast number of private and public organizations, sometimes even in states, that have a program hostile to any and all significant Jewish reality and a propensity to deliberately belittle any Jewish merits, and even to slander them directly or indirectly, demonstrating great perfidy and ingenuity.

4. We are not aware that Carlson has even a minimally consistent understanding of what Jewish religious culture is – about which we have previously written an essay dedicated to Alexander Dugin – but we believe that, if he does not have this knowledge, he should make an effort to inform himself, just as he should momentarily abandon the froth of the present day – political leaders, influential groups, wars, dialectics, power games, etc. – to concentrate on the word Civilization.

It was not only the Decalogue – as a shared ethical and cultural framework – that allowed the construction of Western and Euro-Asian Civilization. It was primarily the joint work between Christians and Jews. Love for God, for the traditional family, for the history of the homeland and for Jerusalem, never ceased to bring together those religiously very different populations.

5. The famous political commentator claims that Judaism and Jewish and Israeli lobbies contribute to the permanent debasement of these fundamental principles. But – we honestly ask – isn't it exactly the opposite? Doesn't the State of Israel constitute precisely the only case of the survival of these principles in the so-called West? Do national Jewish communities not try to promote their national histories, which, as a whole, are those of the homeland where they live? Do Jewish families not try to continue living as they have lived for centuries? In short, do Jews not seek to save what remains of Judeo-Christian Civilization? If Tucker Carlson answers yes to these questions, or at least to some of them, then there will already be a principle of understanding between us.

6. The next step involves making a realistic analysis of what has been destroying, in the West, the love of God, family, and homeland. When Ted Cruz accused Carlson of being an "instrument of Qatar" and of "promoting a pro-Muslim Brotherhood agenda," we don't remember what reasons the senator gave. We do know that, not many years ago, Carlson considered the Muslim Brotherhood to be the primary enemy of the West, while today he apparently argues that this organization is a tool of political manipulation in the service of Israel. It is not. The Jewish State is territorially surrounded by belligerent enemies armed with missiles, all sponsored by the Brotherhood. The simple assumption that the Iranian regime could obtain a nuclear warhead leads to the conclusion that 10 million Israelis would die within a few days.

7. The scenario regarding Jews scattered throughout the diaspora is no more radiant. The communities are trapped between libertarian axiologies that benefit from the favors of that same sponsor – the Muslim Brotherhood – which through Western elites willing to do anything seeks to dismantle societies from within, transforming men into women and women into men, and shame the national history among the native populations. Anyone who praises the histories of their countries today is called a “Bambi”. In the midst of this game, European elites do everything to create a reconstructionist Judaism – instead of strong, real, and successful congregations – with some intellectuals already calling the EU the “Union of European Socialist Republics”.

Carlson has no idea what it costs to create or maintain Jewish life in countries whose only interest – ideological and tourism-related – is to promote “Jewish heritage,” that is, what is dead. Loving the dead Jew is a very beautiful exercise, but we would like to see the same love for the living Jew. The political commentator has no idea what it costs to create fully dedicated, cultivated, mature Jewish teams, so that something can be born from their hands. He has no notion of this, much less of the relentless attacks that these communities suffer from political systems poisoned by “Palestinian issues” and the slogans “Free Palestine”. Nothing can compensate for the destruction of reputations, the defacement of the work done, and the profound personal suffering of the weakest who, seeing themselves terrified, depend on their community leaders to be able to sleep a single night peacefully. No apology, no amount of money, and no formal resolution can erase the pain caused, and the inevitability of yet another conflict that will last far beyond the lives of those involved.

8. Whether Carlson believes it or not, a struggle is currently being waged on Earth against the Jewish world. For decades it has been an unequal struggle, but Jewish constellations always appear, even if they take time. The empires are now united in the same purpose of driving the Brotherhood far away. At its core, it is the struggle of Israel, of its state, of its people. If the Jew wins, the populations of Christian culture will also benefit from this victory. If the Jew loses, the Brotherhood will show what the fate of tens of millions of "infidels" will be, including the overwhelming majority of good-hearted Muslims.

Yes, Islam is a civilization. Yes, Islam was a "great civilization" within which the Jews lived in peace, as in Babylon and Al-Andalus. Yes, I consider – like Carlson – that the Gulf monarchies are the appropriate political systems for the region and that no one in their right mind could wish for their downfall. Interestingly, here lies the point. Every civilization has its own place in the world, its geography, just as every person has a right to their own property. Communist mixtures don't work well, neither with property, nor with people and cultures.

The Brotherhood has done everything to promote the migration of millions of Muslims to nations whose values they do not share. I am referring to Judeo-Christian values. I don't even need to mention the so-called values pertaining to sexual minorities and others that are being promoted today. The problem that has been created has no solution other than a brutal shock. And this is for the superpowers to resolve, not for curious onlookers, nor for writers, nor for political commentators.

9. I ask Tucker Carlson to modestly consider whether he should continue to reduce the evils of humanity to the State of Israel, Mossad, Chabad Lubavitch, and organizations and figures totally antagonistic to traditional Judaism. Minor facts and political passions are irrelevant.

Carlson rails against Jews for dragging the US and American citizens into the war in the Near East. Frankly, this accusation only makes sense to those who try to understand the world through newspapers. In light of the real Jewish world, the self-defense of the State of Israel (a nuclear state) against the Iranian threat (a very strong state in conventional warfare) could and should have been achieved through peaceful and ingenious means agreed upon in secret diplomacy. The Israeli government opted for a decision that contained a double error: a direct declaration of war against Iran and a partnership with the US for the military resolution of this conflict. These are requirements to extend a regional conflict into a struggle between nuclear empires and zones of global influence. This expansion is in Iran's interest, not Israel's which has good relations with the Sino-Russian bloc and the Western Collective. The Jewish state is now trapped between the giants of our time. What is the advantage for Israel?

The war in Iran is probably an absurdity, which either ends now or will extend us to a kind of new pandemic extending to water, food, and transportation, or to another Vietnam for 15 years, once again sponsored by the Sino-Russian bloc, just as happened in the past with the Hanoi regime.

10. The priority, however, is the Civilization of tomorrow. The State of Israel is committed to defending the Judeo-Christian values and will continue to exercise its covert diplomacy around nations with real power. Chabad will remain in New York, Moscow, Shanghai, New Delhi, and even Kiev, with or without the president whom Carlson calls "a rat."

In the place of Tucker Carlson, who has hundreds of millions of followers, the author of these lines would dedicate himself to forming good human beings to worthily serve the world of tomorrow, in the spirit of the best civilizational values. It is unbearable to see the common man transformed into an idiot. Everything about him/her is idle chatter, uncontrolled words, unimportant topics, noise, vanity, envy, a need for recognition. The ease with which the common people sell their bodies and souls – the excessive familiarity to which they expose themselves before the society – generates for them a totally useless life. Instead of humble and sovereign, the common man ends up being a mere beggar, accessible to all. No one can respect that. What is cheap and has no cost is always treated with disdain. Whoever feeds on the garbage of fashionable topics does not take advantage of existence to produce anything worthwhile and becomes easy prey for the parasitic and voracious systems fatally administered by equally idiotic people.

The best advice one can give to the average person is to desert mediocrity, which they can do through isolation, silence, voluntary anonymity, and passionate investment in their personal vocations. They will live in a personal laboratory, producing as if in a small individual castle where the visitor can only enter with their permission. In this zone of exclusion, they choose their spaces, their thoughts, the themes to think about, the works to be produced. Every second of their attention has a high price. Whoever manages to gain access to it is necessarily someone worthwhile, who has something positive to create together. Toxicity is forbidden. Narcissists and madmen should be punished by energetic exclusion, by distancing, disinterest and indifference. Tucker Carlson's influence should be channeled to form better citizens.

It is a waste of time and an injustice to shout against the Jewish world and try to isolate it as dangerous within a Civilization that will otherwise not survive, giving way to anarchic tribalism and radical Islamism. The man whose life is worthwhile is the one who build valuable realities in culture and love, all for the benefit of the whole and to contribute to the unending Creation, not out of selfishness, not to obtain the praise and flattery of the masses and much less of the rich who reduce their lives to the primitive art of buying for 1 to sell for 2, in order to accumulate coins that cannot be taken to their useless tomb.

We believe that in the future many human beings will seek to improve themselves in the best way possible. Until that day, only the Jewish and Israeli leadership will preserve this psychological model that for millennia has given them a great advantage.
