Journalist Miriam Assor will be one of the speakers at the roundtable of ENEG 2025 – National Meeting of Water and Sanitation Utilities, widely regarded as the most prestigious event in Portugal’s water sector.

Under the theme “The Legacies of Water: History, Culture and Values,” the session will explore the role and significance of water in religions, fostering a dialogue that bridges science, faith, and culture. The discussion will be moderated by researcher Luísa Schmidt and will also feature Miriam Assor’s colleagues from the TSF radio program Que mundo, meu Deus!”, Khalid Jamal, Professor João Paiva and Professor José Amado Mendes.

ENEG 2025 will take place from 18 to 21 November 2025, at the Europarque in Santa Maria da Feira, under the motto “Water and Governance: Bridges to the Future.” This edition aims to encourage reflection on sustainable water management and the role of utilities in building innovative, collaborative, and forward-looking solutions.
