Israeli sailor wins the Youth World Windsurfing title in Vilamoura

Israeli sailor Peleg Rajuan was crowned Youth Sailing World Champion during the renowned Youth Sailing World Championship, held in Vilamoura. The event brought together 424 sailors from 67 countries, establishing itself as one of the most important competitions in the category on the international stage.

Rajuan delivered an exceptional performance throughout the competition and claimed the title of Junior Windsurfing World Champion in the IQ Foil class, dominating the races from start to finish. The athlete showed remarkable consistency and a high technical level, maintaining the overall lead for the entire championship.

At the end of the series, the Israeli sailor accumulated only 10 penalty points, with an impressive record: five wins, two second-place finishes, and two third-place finishes. At no point did Rajuan drop below first place in the overall standings.
