On Tuesday, March 25, the Lusa Agency published a report with information from the English newspaper "The Guardian" stating that "Israeli settlers assaulted Palestinian Hamdan Bilal, one of the co-directors of the Oscar-winning film No Other Land".

The Israeli Embassy in Portugal responded to the biased report from the Lusa Agency and released the Israel Defense Forces statement.

"This is the version from the other interested party, which in journalism is called a rebuttal:

Last night [Monday], several terrorists hurled rocks at Israeli citizens, damaging their vehicles near Susya. Following this, a violent confrontation broke out, involving mutual rock-hurling between Palestinians and Israelis at the scene.

IDF and Israeli police forces arrived to disperse the confrontation, at this point, several terrorists began hurling rocks at the security forces.

The forces apprehended three Palestinians suspected of hurling rocks at them, as well as an Israeli civilian involved in the violent confrontation. The detainees were taken for further questioning by the Israel police.

One Israeli citizen was injured in the incident and was evacuated for medical treatment. Contrary to allegations, no Palestinian was arrested inside an ambulance. Among the detainees is Hamdan Bilal, who is suspected of throwing stones at the security forces".
