Interfaith dialogue brings together four religious traditions at Lusófona University

On April 9, 2025, Lusófona University – Lisbon University Centre hosted the colloquium "A Conversation with... a Hindu, a Muslim, a Christian and a Jew on Interfaith Dialogue", organized by the Local Support Centre for the Integration of Migrants (CLAIM).

The event brought together representatives from four religious traditions — Shiv Kumar Singh (Hindu), Khalid Jamal (Muslim), Fr. Edgar Clara (Catholic), and Isaac Assor (Jewish) — with the aim of promoting mutual respect, understanding, and interfaith cooperation. The session was moderated by Jorge Botelho Moniz and featured opening remarks by Elisabete Pinto da Costa and Paulo Mendes Pinto.

The initiative highlighted the importance of dialogue as a tool for building a fairer, more inclusive, and participatory society.
