Journalist Henrique Cymerman, a native of Porto and SIC correspondent in the Middle East, will hold new presentations of his book The Israel Enigma – A History of the Jewish State, which has garnered significant interest since its release. Cymerman has lived in Israel since his youth, giving him a direct and in-depth perspective on the history and politics of the region.

On October 7 and 8, the journalist participated in launch events in Porto and Lisbon, which drew thousands of attendees.
The 360-page book traces the history of the State of Israel and offers reflections on the scenarios that could shape the future of the Middle East. Cymerman began writing the work following the massacre on October 7, 2023, providing a detailed analysis of the historical and political events in the region.
