Today, February 5, 2026, the renowned Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin wrote an opinion piece, already with tens of thousands of views, entitled "Western Modernity as Antichrist: Epstein, Zionism, and Eschatology" which basically assumes that Western modernity is the Antichrist and that all of this is a direct result of the destructive philosophy and work of the global Jewish and Israeli community.
To deny the philosophical and literary value of Alexander Dugin would be an exercise in bad faith. I have read his works with interest, and I am sure that he will be renowned for decades and centuries. If I have to point out a glaring flaw in him, I must reduce it to one word: Jews. This is not the first time that I have come across a similar problem with a Russian intellectual. Many years ago, when I came into contact with the complete works of Fyodor Dostoevsky, whose 10 volumes I keep in a prominent position in my library, I could not help but be impressed by the references he made to the Jews, especially in his "diary of a writer".
Both Dugin and Dostoevsky consider that this small people have immeasurably greater power than their small numbers would lead one to suppose, and assume that all the advances, setbacks, or deviations of civilization in politics, religion, and culture are their work to destroy or harm others. I cannot call intellectuals antisemites who make statements that they are deeply convinced of what they think. The point is that the best reasoning in the world always succumbs when the premises fail. That seems to be the case.
Blindness comes from the disregard of a first fact. Both Dugin and Dostoevsky do not suggest for a moment that the first book of human history, which they know as the Old Testament, can be right, in the sense that, in fact, there is a people, of a very ancient genealogy, which has an unbreakable partnership with God, with the rationality that surrounds the Universe, and therefore eternalizes its existence and leaves its presence very marked. If they considered the above, then perhaps they would find an easier and uncontradicted answer than the "global conspiracy" they so passionately denounce.
Yes, the contemporary world of lies, atheism, materialism, skepticism, and sexual communism is an affront to Christians, but it is striking that a philosopher does not recognize that such a world is also an affront to the Jews, and an even greater affront. The impact on 15 million Jews or on 2 billion Christians is fatally more pernicious for the first group, numerically much lower.
Yes, technical progress is not progress at all. Christians and Jews are the first to know that progress is the best application of known truths, not what machines tell us. Jews are also victims of the system, not just Christians. Everything that Jews stand for, tradition, belief, love of their history, culture, and respect for the ancestral land, is viewed with utter disdain by the modern political system anchored in LGBT slogans and Free Palestine. The royal Jewish communities, the Jews of merit and Israel are persecuted, and all the powers of the States unite against them, in a total corruption that history will surely record.
Yes, the Judeo-Christian civilization that once existed, no longer exists thanks to the most perverse philosophies. But this was not the work of the Jews, but rather was and has been an attack on them. On the other hand, it is worth remembering that the United States owes its existence to the contribution of the Jews. Portugal too. And Spain, and England, and Holland, and France, and Europe in general, and Latin America, and vast regions of Africa, etc. Why did Netanyahu claim in early 2026 that Israel will defend Judeo-Christian civilization?
Yes, the Epstein's phenomenon seems to reveal that many elites preach atheism for the masses, but they themselves consciously embrace the Satanic cult, with cannibal rituals, killings, sacrifices of children, and rapes. But what do the Jews as a people have to do with this? Among 15 million Jews there are certainly deviants, perverts and murderers. Dugin should visit Israel's prisons: they are full of Jews.
Yes, the Jews are waiting for the Messiah, the descendant of David. Yes, Judaism teaches that nations in general will be ruled by princes of peace, in the service of the Messiah, and that there will be no more wars and discords. Yes, Jesus was an Orthodox Jew and was considered the Messiah. Yes, Sabbatai Zvi was an Orthodox Jew and claimed to be the Messiah. Yes, others followed suit. But to start from these facts, to blame the Jews for the world of the "Antichrist" is neither reasonable, nor fair, nor factual.
It is not true that modern Judaism has two strands, reduced to those who reject Zionism and those who serve Baal to artificially hasten the coming of the Messiah. The overwhelming majority of the world's Jews passionately support the existence of the State of Israel and benefit from its protection and aid. Moreover, the coming of the Messiah cannot be hastened by nature, especially since it is written that he will be born on the 9th of Av.
Yes, the Jewish nation calls non-Jewish nations "goyim," just as Belgians, Russians, or Chinese call non-natives "foreigners." It is a fact. It is not a derogatory term. Obviously, there are always extremists and crackpots who hate different cultures. Certainly, there are Jews who hate the goyim. Certainly, there are Russians who hate non-Russians, and Mexicans who hate non-Mexicans, and so on. But this is a problem for humanity, not for the Jews. It is a factual, deliberate, and dangerous error to call the Hebrew word goyim satanic.
It is not true that a Jew who embraces Christ ceases to be a Jew. A person born of a Jewish mother does not cease to be Jewish, not even if he embraces the war on the Jews, as Leon Trotsky, alias Lev Davidovich Brostein did, unless he is the target of Cherem (excommunication). This was precisely the case with Trotsky, who was repudiated at the time by the rabbinate of Odessa.
It is not true that Christian Zionism is a parody of the faith, and just a tool for manipulation, because the spiritual homeland of Christians is Jerusalem, just as Dugin's spiritual homeland must be if he professes Christianity, a fact that the author of these lines does not know. Be that as it may, I advise the philosopher to visit Israel at Christmas or Christian Passover time. The large waves of Christians constantly arriving at Ben Gurion airport are impressive. In that land, nobody burns their crosses, nor the Christmas trees they display in the public square.
Yes, the State of Israel always appears to be the culprit for all evils. But perhaps a philosopher should consider, at least suppose, that the Jewish state is precisely a thorn in the side of the atheistic system that thrives in the West, which has destroyed the entire axiology of Judeo-Christian civilization. How to destroy Israel? The system can't. It is a small independent, nationalist, traditionalist state, with millennial religious symbols on its flag. Never has another people prayed two thousand years for a return home. No one has ever achieved this feat, except the people of Israel. To try to distance God from this fact is at least a forced intellectual exercise, especially for a philosopher and, even more, a philosopher of indisputable value.
In addition, apparently through the mind of the pedophile Epstein passed the idea of the replacement of the nationalist population of Israel, by the importation of millions of Jews with the same socialist, communist, social-democratic and liberal culture that has destroyed Judeo-Christian civilization in Europe and the USA. No way, in Israel it is not possible. Promoters of advanced doctrines, liberals, socialists, and the Muslim Brotherhood will continue to search for an antidote. So far they have always failed, and with God's help they will remain sad and inconsolable.
It is not at all true that the nature of the Zionist cult reveals itself on Epstein's island and in the "genocide" of Gaza. I hate to see the dead in Palestine, especially the children. I don't have the technical knowledge, nor does Dugin, to know if cleaner operations could have occurred. What I take for granted is that genocide i.e., "the extermination of a people in whole or in part" took place in Israel on October 7, 2023, and also in Hebron, in Odessa, in York, in Seville, in Lisbon, and in all the countries that Jews have inhabited for centuries.
In short, I am the first to recognize the intellectual value of Alexander Dugin. He reasons well and writes even better, because he makes everything he thinks very clear. But on it are imprinted the same basic errors that I found many years ago in Dostoyevsky. We know the unintentional contribution that Dostoyevsky's philosophy made to the "genocide of genocides" in the middle of the twentieth century. And I sincerely fear that Dugin's philosophy, if it is not changed, will generate the same results in the more or less distant future.
