In 2025, President Trump had the opportunity to inform Knesset that the world was saved from World War III thanks to the efforts of Steve Whitkoff and Jared Kushner. Few in the West paid attention to this statement, which encapsulates a relevant reality that is seemingly unknown to many.

Last Thursday, a distinguished American delegation met in Moscow with Russian President Vladimir Putin to try to end the four-year-long war in Ukraine, which has already claimed more than a million lives. At least ⅓ of the nuclear weapons that Russia and the US possess are operational, besides intercontinental missiles, multiple warheads each, hypersonic missiles, and nuclear submarines. Russia has its population concentrated in a few cities, while the United States has its major cities on the Atlantic and Pacific coasts, which are at the mercy of dozens of large Russian nuclear submarines. Neither has any possible defense against such a large number of missiles in the possession of the adversary, much less against nuclear torpedoes and the spread of radiation. Besides China has fewer warheads than the two aforementioned powers, but it is content with 600 operational hypersonic warheads.

For politicians in smaller, unarmed nations, the only political game they know is to speak loudly and give many impactful interviews. The real world is the world of military and imperial powers. The "Jewish delegation" knows the possibility of the world turning into a radioactive wasteland is real. Witkoff, Kushner, and Gruenbaum are not only Jewish, but Jewish from families originating in the Russian Empire that gave way to the Soviet Union. All three have the support of President Donald Trump to prevent the tragedy that the lyricists are unable to even foresee or guess, because they are far from knowing what wars between nuclear empires are like.

World seems to ignore the importance of the three men and their wives. Witkoff is married to Lauren Rappaport, meaning "Rabbi of Porto"; Jared Kushner is married to Ivanka Trump, converted to Judaism by Chabad Lubavitch; and Josh Gruenbaum is married to Marissa Price Gruenbaum. The three couples know the most powerful military alliance in human history is not OTAN, but rather the alliance that won World War II, which included the United States and Soviet Union fighting together. In the meantime, the new American foreign policy doctrine has removed Russia from the group of enemies.

The Portuguese Ran Gvili

The same US envoys met Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday as Washington advances its 20-point plan for postwar Gaza. The discussions followed Kushner’s presentation in Davos on Thursday outlining his vision for a rebuilt “New Gaza,” including a plan to reconstruct and economically develop the war-torn Strip.

American officials said coordination with Israel is ongoing to recover the body of the final remaining hostage, Ran Gvili, an israeli and Portuguese citizen. Gvili’s family said they are concerned that pressure is being directed at Israel to proceed to phase two of the ceasefire agreement rather than at Hamas to return the last deceased hostage’s remains.

“President Trump himself said this week in Davos that Hamas knows where our son is. We wonder why the pressure is being directed at the wrong place. The pressure should not be on the Israeli government to continue to fulfill its part of the agreement while Hamas is deceiving the entire world and refusing to return the last kidnapped person, in accordance with the agreement it signed,” the family said. They called on Netanyahu to convey to the US envoys that progress toward regional calm and reconstruction should be linked to the recovery of their Portuguese son’s remains.
