This week, New York hosted the 42nd International Conference of Chabad-Lubavitch Emissaries, considered the largest Jewish rabbinical gathering in the world.

The library is located inside the Kadoorie Mekor Haim Synagogue and brings together tens of thousands of publications, in 13 different languages.

The general public relates Jewish communities to synagogue life, forgetting that it is their duty, especially outside Israel, to promote Jewish culture and history.

The survey identified 135 places of worship belonging to nine religious communities in the city.
