This week, the Israeli Embassy in Portugal held a moving ceremony in memory of the second anniversary of the October 7 massacre, a date marked by terrorist attacks that left deep scars on the Israeli and international communities.

The event was attended by two family members of the massacre victims, as well as senior Portuguese officials, ambassadors, journalists, members of Jewish communities, and other guests. During the ceremony, the Emmy-winning film "We'll Dance Again" was screened, portraying the harrowing story of the victims of the attacks at the Nova Festival on that tragic day.

The Israeli Ambassador to Portugal, Oren Rozenblat, stated: "October 7 was the day our collective heart broke. Today, two years later, there are still 48 hostages, including six Portuguese citizens, held captive by Hamas under terrible conditions. Israel will not rest until they all return home."
