Rabbi Menachem and Chana Wagner, along with their children, Chaya Mushka and Mendel, are set to establish the first Chabad Center in Southern Portugal’s Algarve region. Appointed by Rabbi Eli Rosenfeld, they bring with them a legacy of leadership and dedication to Jewish outreach, drawing on their experiences growing up as Shluchim. Their mission marks a significant milestone for the Jewish community in the Algarve.
Recognizing the growing demand for Jewish resources and spiritual connection in this thriving region, the Wagners are eager to establish a dynamic Chabad Center that fosters community, belonging, and spiritual growth. They aim to provide programs and initiatives catering to all ages, offering a hub of Jewish life for residents and visitors alike.
“Opening a Chabad center in Southern Portugal is a dream come true” they share. “We are committed to bringing the warmth of Jewish tradition to this unique community, embodying the Rebbe’s mission to reach every Jew, no matter where they are.”
