The Hungarian capital has become a haven for tourists from the Hebrew state, who flock to its vibrant Jewish Quarter.
Festivities at the Goethe-Institut Lisboa featured music, traditional treats, and the symbolic lighting of the Chanukah candles.
"When Jewish children died of hunger in the Shoah, you were at best neutral in the war against Nazi Germany," Gideon Sa'ar said of PM Simon Harris.
